GSE temperature and minimum-speed controller with 5A socket is a regulator for controlling the speed of one or more extract fans used in indoor growing spaces.

• maintains a constant room temperature
• creates a continuous minimum speed to prevent odour leakage
• max. current: 5.0A
• max. load: 1150W

Setting range:

• temperature: 20C° to 30C°
• min. speed: off, 20% to 100%

Technical specifications:

• dimensions W x H x D: 75x110x90mm.
• max. current: 5.0A
• max. load: 1150W
• temperature sensor with a 2m. cable
• voltage: 230V, 50Hz

Setting range:

• temperature: 20C° to 30C°
• min. speed: off, 20% to 100%

Installation:

• Plug the fan into socket (5). Connect the temperature sensor (7), which is supplied with a 2m cable, to the controller, then choose the sensor location where you want to take the measurement.
• Ensure it is not directly exposed to a heat source or a flow of light to obtain the most accurate measurement of the surrounding air. Now plug the controller plug (6) into an external outlet. The controller initializes; this can take up to 10 seconds. The green power LED (3) flashes and the fans operate at 50% power. After initialization, the green power LED (3) remains continuously lit — the controller regulates from that point onward.

Instructions:

1. Use the temperature-setting knob (1) to set the desired temperature, for example 24°C.
2. Use the second knob to set the minimum speed (2), below which the speed must never fall during regulation; for example, set it to 20%.
3. The minimum-speed setting has priority and always overrides the temperature setting. If you set the minimum-speed setting (2) to OFF, the fan stops when the measured temperature is below the set temperature. The minimum-speed setting (2) has a 20% start-up boost to give the fan sufficient power to run at low speed.
4. Hysteresis is a fixed value of 2°C. Hysteresis is the controlled fan-speed range. Within these 2°C, the fan speed changes from the lowest point set by the minimum-speed setting (2) to the highest regulation point, 100% fan speed, depending on temperature.
5. While the temperature measured by sensor (7) is below your setting (24°C), the minimum-speed controller keeps the fan running at the minimum-speed setting (20%). When the temperature rises above 24°C, the temperature LED (4) turns on and the fan speed begins to increase according to temperature over the next 2°C to 100%, until it reaches 26°C.
6. Small fans can vary from 0-100%, but if power consumption is higher (large fans), the controller operates semi-variable and automatically switches to 100% without variable control. The controller remains on until the temperature drops.
7. Warning! Setting a high minimum speed with large fans will make them run at 100% due to the internal overheating protection! Reduce the minimum speed!

GSE Temperature and Minimum Speed Controller 10A is a controller for managing the speed of one or more exhaust fans used in indoor growing spaces.

• maintains a constant room temperature
• creates a continuous minimum speed to prevent odour leakage
• max. current: 10.0A
• max. load: 2300W

Setting range:

• temperature: 20C° to 30C°
• min. speed: off, 20% to 100%

Technical specifications:

• dimensions W/H/D: 130x92x105mm.
• max. current: 10.0A
• max. load: 2300W
• temperature sensor with 4m. cable
• voltage: 230V, 50Hz

Instructions:

1. Use the temperature adjustment knob to set the desired temperature, for example 24°C.
2. Use the second knob to set the minimum speed, which must never fall during regulation; for example, we set this to 20%.
3. The minimum-speed setting is the strongest setting and always overrides the temperature setting. If you set the minimum-speed setting to OFF, the fan will stop operating when the measured temperature is below the set temperature. The minimum-speed setting has a 20% start-up peak to give the fan enough power to operate at low speed.
4. Hysteresis is a fixed value of 2°C. Hysteresis is the controlled range of fan speed. Within these 2°C, the fan speed changes from the lowest point set by the minimum-speed setting to the highest regulation point, 100% fan speed, depending on the temperature.
5. While the temperature measured by the sensor is below your setting (24°C), the minimum-speed controller keeps the fan operating according to the minimum-speed setting (20%). When the temperature rises above 24°C, the temperature LED turns on and fan speed begins to increase according to the temperature over the next 2°C up to 100%, until it reaches 26°C.
6. Small fans can vary from 0-100%, but if power consumption is higher (large fans), the controller operates semi-variable and automatically switches to 100% without variable control. The controller remains on until the temperature drops.
7. Warning! A high minimum-speed setting with large fans will operate at 100% because of the internal overheat protection! Reduce the minimum speed!

Setting range:

• temperature: 20C° to 30C°
• min. speed: off, 20% to 100%

Instructions for use here!

• The controller manages one or two fans – one for inlet air and one for outlet air, or two for outlet air. Connect the exhaust fan to "Fan 1" and the intake fan to "Fan 2". Set the desired temperature value.
• The "Minimum Speed" setting sets the exhaust fan's minimum speed as a percentage of its maximum speed. At "Off", ventilation stops when not needed; at any other value, it runs at the set speed.
• The "Negative Pressure" setting sets the intake fan speed as a percentage of the exhaust fan speed. If you use this controller for 2 exhaust fans, set it to 100%; otherwise, determine the suitable value experimentally.
• As the temperature rises, fan speed increases gradually, reaching 2° 100% higher. As it decreases, the speed also drops to the value set by "Minimum Speed".
• Maintains a constant temperature, and negative pressure keeps odours contained.
• Can be used for two exhaust fans if the room has unrestricted air access.
• Ready to use and reliable, with a waterproof enclosure, socket covers and a low-voltage sensor, making it ideal for humid rooms.
• The sensor has a 4m cable, which can be extended to 50m.
