Recommendations for use
- Mount the pump using the rubber vacuum feet on a flat surface to minimize vibrations.
- Use a hose with an internal diameter of ~ 14.5 mm (or corresponding adapter) for the outlet to maintain the stated flow rate.
- Take advantage of the built-in mixer/Venturi system to add air to the solution — improves oxygen content and stimulates root growth.
- Cleaning the inlet cover / filter - periodically remove debris to prevent the pump from clogging and a drop in flow rate.
- Do not allow the pump to run dry: it must be at least partially submerged or connected to a water flow.
- When using nutrient solutions (especially fertilizers), check the compatibility of the materials (ABS housing, stainless steel) with the concentrations.
