Growing recommendations.
- Seeds are sown directly outdoors after the soil has warmed up sufficiently. In case of a longer winter, you can grow seedlings in advance in a greenhouse or indoors.
- Maintain even soil moisture . Avoid infrequent watering with abundant amounts of water. This is especially important during the period of leaf growth.
- Harvest the leaves from the outer part of the plants, leaving the inner part to continue growing – this will ensure a continuous harvest.
- The "5 Colors" chard is suitable for both garden and indoor growing - it adapts well in flowerpots or balcony pots.
- To preserve the colors if your goal is ornamental cultivation, avoid excessive drought and plant with a greater distance between plants to allow for good air exchange.
