How does Spidermite Control work?

• Spidermite Control works through a physical mode of action, blocking the pests' respiratory tract, thereby causing death by suffocation.
• All insect eggs are unlikely to hatch due to their encapsulation in the environment and their apparent inability to successfully emerge into adulthood.

What are spider mites?

• Spider mites are a gardener’s enemy. They are a serious pest for both outdoor and indoor plants, due to the fact that these pests are difficult to see before they have caused damage to the plants. Spider mites gather on the underside of leaves, suck plant fluids and remove chlorophyll. Visible signs include cobwebs, white or yellow spots on the leaves; defoliation occurs in severe cases. Spider mites are smaller than 1mm and can vary in color. They lay small, spherical eggs that are initially transparent and many species spin a web around the eggs to protect them from predators. Spider mites are generally more prevalent in hot, dry conditions. Spider mites can hatch within 3 days, reach adulthood in just 5 days, and the female can lay up to 20 eggs per day and live for up to about 4 weeks. This means that one mature female can create a population of one million spider mites within just one month.

• 94% Rapeseed Oil
• 5% Triethanolamine

Recommended use:

• Shake well! Dissolve 25ml SMC in 1 litre of water ! Spray the upper and lower parts of the leaves with a fine mist! Spidermite Control can be used in all stages of growth.
